'Dear All, I have a requirement where in I have to download the data encoding into UTF-8 format, if any one can provide me some suggestion or is any tool in SAP where in we can do that, so that I can achieve the requirement. I used GUIDOWNLOAD function module but its not converting into UTF - 8. Please anyone can help me in that.

Megan, Have you triend any other code page? Maybe you can find someting on the internet about UTF-8 conversion issues. My converted text looks fine (in notepad) except for the fact that the character '?' ' gets replaced with '??' Any ideas why this might be? Im using codepage 4110 but perhaps this doesnt handle French?
Thanks Megan. Hi, If you populate the CODEPAGE parameer of the GUIDOWNLOAD with the proper codepage number ( I think it is 4110 or 4120), you should get an UTF-8 file.
