Occupation: surveyor Hi I am unable to get the bluetooth dongle to connect to the Parrot Ck3100 and was hoping to use the serial cable which is described in the Parrot instructions. Does anyone know how to get hold of one. Parrot in France are not responding to email requests and I have a problem with my K750i which the 4.11 update may fix.

Bluetooth Mini-Instructions: First of all your BT Dongle should be installed properly on your system - on XP SP2 systems most dongles should work as 'plug and play' with the XP BT Support.

Here no 2nd BT Software is required - also it shouldn't be installed because you might encounter problems when 2 different BT Stacks are installed. If you want to use another Software go to Device Manager, look for other drivers and select the other BT Driver (e.g. Widcomm) - the MS driver should be something like 'Generic BT Radio. If everything seems to work (e.g. Try finding your phone with your computer). Now take your PC near the CK3100.

Look for BT devices until CK3100 is found. Pair with CK3100 by using the default BT PIN (0000 I think). When everything is paired - disconnect the two. Start BT Flash Wizard from Parrot Website - chose your prefered BT Connection (standard connection with XP SP2 - Virtual Com Port (check which Com Port in your Software) usually with Widcomm) and then load Flash file. Everything else is self-explanatory. Posted: 14:58 26 Jul 05 #3.
